McFirster (popularly known as Mark), is a Zambian citizen who was trained in International Tourism Management by International Hotel Systems of New Zealand. He gained wide work experience spanning over 10 years in New Zealand’s top hospitality and tourism industry extending to the rest of the greater Australasia region and in Botswana.

He runs Lochinvar Safari Tours and Lodge, a safari management and tour operator company located on the peripherals of the Lochinvar National Park in Monze-west, Southern province of Zambia.

Lochinvar Safari Lodge offers camping excursion on its property to those wishing to visit Lochinvar National Park, the best bird paradise of the world and is open through out the year. Mark arranges and caters mostly for budget travelers and mid-range luxury tourists wishing to travel to Zambia especially to Kafue National Park, Lochinvar National Park, South Luangwa National Park, Lusaka National Park, Lower Zambezi National Park, Chobe National Park of Botswana and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.

How the Tours are Managed

He has a special dedicated team of certified Tour Guides based in Livingstone the tourist capital City of Zambia, and Adventure capital of Africa that offers guided tours in Livingstone, Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park in Botswana and Vic Falls in Zimbabwe. Mark also runs Nahubwe Safari Lodge situated outside Kafue National Park (KNP), located in Itezhi Itezhi district, central province of Zambia offering guided safari tours to the southern part of Kafue National Park around Ngoma Area Management.

His Passion

Mark is passionate about Eco-tourism practices that promotes responsible travel to nature and wildlife destinations in Africa. In Botswana Kasane, Mark runs Send Us Travel Tours and Car Hire Botswana and has lived there for over 12 years. He loves meeting new people to share the finest traditions, rhythm and beat of Zambia’s tourism experiences.

Mark is available to arrange any travel tour excursions including any ground handling services to any destination within Zambia including to Chobe National Park in Botswana and Vic Falls in Zimbabwe.
