  • Day 1: Lusaka to Choma

    - 06:30 am: The tour begins at StayEasy Lusaka Hotel, where participants meet the trip leader and receive a briefing on safety and country information. Travelers are advised to arrive early due to potential traffic congestion.
    - 06:50 am: Meet and greet session (may occur the previous day).
    - 07:30 am: Depart Lusaka for Choma, traveling via the T-2 Kafue Road and T-1 Livingstone highway.
    - 09:50 am: Stop at Kafue River and the Kafue Bridge for a closer view of the river.

    - Heritage stop: Visit the Munali Hills Pass National Monument, marking Dr. David Livingstone’s passage through the hills.
    - 10:20 am: Continue to Mazabuka, passing through green farms, traditional villages, and schools.
    - 11:30 am: Arrive in Mazabuka, known as "The Sweetest Town" due to its sugarcane industry.
    - 11:40 am: Depart for Monze, passing sugar plantations.
    - 13:20 pm: Arrive in Monze, an agricultural town.
    - 13:30 pm - 15:00 pm: Visit the Samu Lya Moomba National Heritage site in Bweengwa area, a key location for Zambia’s independence struggles.
    - 13:50 pm: Enjoy lunch at Indian Classic Food Restaurant or another local restaurant.
    - 14:00 pm: Stop at Family Safari private animal sanctuary for a wildlife viewing experience.
    - 14:30 pm: Depart for Choma, passing through small villages along the way.
    - 18:00 pm: Arrive in Choma and check into accommodation.
    - 19:00 pm: Dinner at a local restaurant.
    - 21:30 pm: Retire for the night.

  • Day 2: Choma to Livingstone

    - 06:10 am: Wake-up call and warm shower.
    - 07:00 – 07:30 am: Hearty breakfast at the lodge.
    - 08:30 am: Check-out from the lodge and load belongings into the tour vehicle.
    - 08:40 am: Travel to Choma Museum to learn about the history of Zambia's Southern Province. Afterward, depart for Kalomo.
    - 12:30 pm: Arrive in Kalomo, the first colonial capital of Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia). Historical highlights include:
    o The former Colonial Administrator's Residence.
    o The first Standard Chartered Bank of North-Western Rhodesia.

    - Kalomo was the colonial capital of Northern Rhodesia (1907-1911).
    - Livingstone is the tourist capital of Zambia, named after Dr. David Livingstone, and was the capital of Northern Rhodesia until 1935. The town's first traffic lights were installed in 2011.
    - 15:30 pm: Proceed to Livingstone.
    - 18:30 pm: Arrive in Livingstone, check-in at accommodation.
    - 09:30 pm: Enjoy a sumptuous dinner.
    - Nightlife: For those interested, transport arrangements will be made to explore the nightlife in Livingstone city at nightclubs (beverages at own cost).

  • Day 3: Chobe National Park Safari (Botswana)

    - 06:45 am: Pick-up from your lodge in Livingstone and travel to the Kazungula Zambia/Botswana border (88 km).
    Visa Info: You will need to apply for a visa to enter Botswana (and possibly Zimbabwe), depending on your nationality.
    - 08:00 am: Arrive at Kazungula border for entry into Botswana. Present your passport and pay any necessary border fees.

    - Chobe National Park Safari:
    o After crossing the border, meet your Botswana guide and drive 22 km to Chobe National Park.
    o Embark on a game drive in the park to see elephants, lions, leopards, wild dogs, and other wildlife.

    - 12:30 pm: Enjoy a buffet lunch at Chobe Safari Lodge or another location nearby.
    - 14:30 pm: Take an afternoon boat cruise on the Chobe River to view elephants, crocodiles, hippos, and birds.
    - 16:00 pm: Finish the boat cruise and head back to the border station.
    - 16:40 pm: Re-enter Zambia and return to Livingstone (88 km).
    - 18:00 pm: Arrive at your lodge in Livingstone.
    - 18:30 pm: Enjoy dinner at your lodge.
    - 20:00 pm: Relax with drinks at a bar/restaurant in Livingstone.

  • Day 5: Game drive in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Livingstone & Sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.

    08:30 AM – Enjoy a hearty breakfast before embarking on a game drive and Rhino walk safari in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Witness diverse wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, and the endangered white rhino, with excellent photography opportunities.

    - 12:00 PM – Exit the park and visit the National Art Gallery, Zambia’s first national gallery showcasing local and international artwork.
    - 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM – Lunch break.
